Youth Ministries

Growing together.

Youth ministry at Shepherd of the Hill seeks to provide a safe place to grow in faith,
build relationships with peers and leaders, and encounter Jesus.

Youth Group

We are so excited to welcome everyone back for another year of Youth Group!

Our weekly gatherings will begin again on Tuesday, September 22 from 6:00–8:00 PM, and this year we are excited to expand the Youth Group to include students in 6th–12th grade.
Throughout the year, we’ll spend time together building community, playing games, serving, and growing in faith. We also plan to divide into younger and older youth groups for portions of the evening so that our 6th–8th graders and 9th–12th graders can have conversations and discussions that meet them where they are and allow us to explore some topics more deeply with our older students.

Our September theme will be Belonging: There’s a Place for You Here. For our younger youth, we’ll focus on building community, getting to know one another, and exploring what it means to belong to God and the church. Our older youth will take that conversation a little deeper by talking about authenticity versus fitting in, finding identity within community, and helping create a Youth Group culture where everyone feels like they belong.
Youth Group will continue to meet in the CE Wing. Students can enter through the back right-side door, where someone will be there to welcome them in.
