Welcome!
At Shepherd of the Hill, we know it's not easy to find a church that feels like family. We applaud you for seeking to find a spiritual home that reflects God's life-changing and inclusive love.
Many visitors start by watching our worship services either here on our website, or in our mobile app. It's not uncommon for a person who is new to our in-person services to say "I know you from seeing you in the live stream!" Others join us in-person first, and our greeting team helps them get settled and answer any questions.
You are invited to join us in whatever way which works well for you. We do believe that relationships are key to being the church. Therefore, if you start online, we hope you will join us in-person when you can. To support you in your visit, we want to share with you the following information.
FAMILIES
Children are always welcome in the worship service, and in our narthex (also known as the lobby) you will find coloring sheets and shaker eggs to be used during the songs. We offer nursery care for those under 6 years old. We also offer Sunday School after the children's message during the school year. Tablets are welcome with headphones, and simply ask for the wifi password and we will provide it.
ACCESSIBILITY
We have wheelchair seating in our sanctuary. We also provide hearing assist devices upon request. Our screens allow for a larger text for those with vision concerns. For communion, we provide a way for those who prefer to remain seated to be served.
INCLUSIVITY
We want you to be comfortable during your visit. We have two gender neutral bathrooms near the kitchen. Our gender specific bathrooms are located in the hallways on either side of the Fellowship Hall. If you would like a name tag with your pronoun preferences, please write your request on the name tag board near the narthex. If we can be supportive of you in another way, please let us know.
