Meet the teams

Core Teams are essential for the function of the church. They help enable the church to fulfill its responsibilities to the Book of Order, stay in compliance with legal requirements, and operate in an ethical fashion.

Fellowship Team

This team supports Sunday Coffee Fellowship and provides other fellowship opportunities for the congregation.

Property Care Team

Lead: Scott Pantaleo
The Property Care Team is responsible for the regular upkeep of the church property, grounds and building-related equipment.  This includes regular inspection, maintenance, and planning for expected repairs and replacements.

Mission Team

Lead: Sheri Martin
The Mission Team has the authority to approve or disapprove potential Ministry Partners. They set the monthly giving to ministry partners, and provide opportunities for congregational involvement in local mission projects.

Stewardship Team

Lead: Don Bennett
The Stewardship Team is responsible for supporting the church's financial, legal, and risk-management affairs.

Worship Team

The team supports Sunday morning worship and other special services throughout the year, in coordination with the pastor.

Human Resources Team

Lead: Marianne Bastin
The Human Resources Team is charged with helping the church fulfill the requirements of the Personnel Manual, supporting the creation and revision of job descriptions and other resources for role clarity and effectiveness, acting as liaison between the pastor and congregation regarding compensation, and reviewing staff needs and making recommendations to the Finance Committee.

Praise Team

Lead: Christine Bozich
The Praise Team leads contemporary worship each Sunday, inviting people of all ages to sing, celebrate, and respond to God together. Through modern worship songs, blended voices, and a variety of instruments, the team helps create a welcoming, Spirit‑led environment where anyone can encounter God in meaningful and joyful ways.

Social Justice Team

The Social Justice Team encourages the church to minister in inclusive, anti-racist, and other socially just ways, by making recommendations to and partnering with teams and Session, and liaising with outside organizations.
